Lisa is an empathetic and down to earth dietitian, passionate about working in partnership with her clients to develop practical food and lifestyle habits which suit the individual. She understands the importance of developing achievable goals that embrace personal preference, cultural requirements, work, family and social commitments. Her end goal is to improve quality of life, maintaining long term habits without feeling restricted or pressured by social trends or fad diets. She is determined to find solutions for those who are struggling to find balance in their lives and feel they have no time to focus on healthy eating.

Through the NDIS, Lisa has worked with a range of clients from early childhood to post-retirement age. She has experience with Physical, Intellectual and Cognitive disabilities including:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Chromosomal Deletion Disorders.
  • Huntington’s Disease
  • Motor Neurone Disease (MND)
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
  • Psychosocial Disabilities (i.e. Complex PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder)

Lisa provides a range of services to her NDIS clients depending on their needs. These often involve picky or fussy eating, food seeking behaviour, sensory issues with food, general healthy eating, and educating participants, families & care facility staff.

Through private practice work, Lisa has experience in bariatric surgery and weight management.  She is involved in the assessment, education, support and management of bariatric patients before and after surgery.  She is passionate about helping patients maintain their nutritional health and weight goals in the long term.

In her spare time, Lisa loves to travel and has lived and worked in three countries. She also enjoys being active and spending quality time with her friends and family, particularly in the outdoors with activities such as hiking, swimming and camping.

Lisa provides NDIS home, video and telephone consultations within Bendigo region.
