Why Nutrition matters
People with disability often face barriers to healthy eating — the right nutrition can improve energy, independence, and participation in supported accommodation. Moreover, 1 in 2 Australians aged 65+ live with a chronic condition such as heart disease or diabetes.
We help aged care and disability organisations meet national nutrition standards and improve resident outcomes. Our services support facilities to:
- Meet Aged Care Quality Standards (1–8) — dignity, personal care, clinical care, mealtime experience, staff training, and governance
- Align with the Australian Dietary Guidelines & Australian Guide to Healthy Eating
- Ensure safe meals through IDDSI for texture-modified diets
- Meet NDIS Practice Standards (where relevant)
