Katie Vickers dietitian

Katie is committed to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives and helping them build a healthy relationship with food. She believes that there is no perfect diet, and that true health comes from balance, rather than labelling foods as ‘good’ or ‘bad’.

Katie can assist with children’s nutrition (fussy eating, faltering growth, allergies), gastrointestinal issues (IBS, IBD, FODMAPs, coeliac disease), chronic disease management (diabetes, heart disease, PCOS) and weight concerns (under & over). Katie has experience working with children and adults with a range of disabilities including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)
  • Intellectual Disabilities
  • Mental Illness including Depression and Anxiety
  • Acquired Brain Injury

Katie particularly enjoys working with children and has completed additional study at the Royal Children’s Hospital. She values the importance of role-modelling healthy lifestyles from birth, to promote long-lasting habits and prevent future health complications.

Katie loves to cook and get creative in the kitchen. She is passionate about making meal times quick, easy and affordable for busy families. In her spare time, Katie enjoys the simple things in life such walking in nature, having brunch at a café, or relaxing with a good movie.

Katie is available for Telehealth consultations or home visits in the Eastern and South Eastern suburbs.
